Security & Governance
MORE's design guarantees that users' assets stay inside an audited Diamond proxy, but that vault owners, managers, guardians and DAO voters decide how that proxy can evolve and when its parameters can be updated. This section describes who is allowed to act, by which on-chain levers, under what time delays, and with which backstops if something goes wrong.
Depositors can measure their governance risk with the same clarity they measure other risks like price, liquidity or smart contract risk, while strategists can upgrade vaults without ever bypassing the visibility and exit windows encoded in the protocol.
Because MORE Vaults are built to be as permissionless as possible and vault configurations can vary widely with dependencies on external protocols that embody their own isolated risks, there is no global risk manager role at the protocol level. Only vault owners can pause deposits and withdrawals for their respective vaults.
